Bet you didn't guess that! I had what they call a "normal life," a full-time job that paid the bills , looking forward to every weekend to repeat the same cycle, and so on…

When the 2008 crisis hit, I was able to keep my job, but my salary was reduced. Basically, I was doing the same amount of work for less pay, and as you can imagine, I was living paycheck to paycheck. Turning 31 and earning €720 a month, I didn't know what saving was . During that time, I not only had to work hard to make ends meet, but I also stayed in the closet so that my true self wouldn't affect my work.

I fantasized about changing my lifestyle, being a Greek Traveler, a citizen of the world, living in a van, working and traveling ; of course, that seemed like a crazy dream that I couldn't achieve.

I was aware that there were other alternatives, but the fear of making a mistake and leaving my comfort zone paralyzed me. Ten years passed! I know, it's crazy! Until I had to face a new crisis in my life, this time in my relationship (but don't worry, this isn't one of those melodramatic stories!).

I was full of enthusiasm and dreams. And I finished first in my class with honors. But they say that “nothing good lasts forever”. In 2017 my partner broke up with me! I'll just say that after ending a relationship of more than 8 years, I was left with nothing.

It was the first time in my life that it seemed like everything was conspiring against me. I literally felt that way! I had to put my enrollment at the Academy on hold for six months, and I also had to deal with some health problems while a deep depression was knocking at my door for the first time in my life. I remember spending several months like that, searching for a way out, in utter despair. It was very difficult for me! I almost completely collapsed, but I learned to ask for help.

I started reflecting on what had happened in my life during the last 11 years , and I realized I had thrown my best years away !

In 2018, I emigrated to Spain in search of something better! An unforgettable 3-day trip, driving about 2,000 km… I started from scratch in a new country. With the little savings I had, knowing that if I wanted different results, I couldn't keep doing the same thing.

I followed my instinct. That's when I decided to enroll at END ( Digital Nomad School) . I wanted to fulfill my dream of being a digital nomad, a Greek traveler, a citizen of the world… Initially, I started studying finance and investments to take control of my money and begin generating income online, and shortly after, I also trained in Digital Marketing (Email Marketing, Web Design, and SEO & Social Media).

At the same time, I decided to diversify my income streams by making my own investments and earning a living this way. Having another source of income is essential to ensure financial stability and to apply financial intelligence principles to my work and investment approach.

I started traveling and working online designing websites with WordPress for clients who understand the importance of the internet and want to digitize, and also teaching financial intelligence. Today I continue to practice what I've learned and I'm fulfilling my dream of working online after having lived in a van for 3 years! Traveling and working from wherever I am…

I'm telling you this so you can get to know me. But also so you know that I understand the situation you're in. I know how difficult it is to want to take that step we know we need to take, but fear prevents us from moving forward.

Are you really going to spend 10 years in this situation too? I assure you that moving towards my goals wasn't easy, but it was worth it… joy. One thing I learned in a course by Sérgio Canovas that stuck in my mind:  When you're afraid, DO IT AFRAIDLY!
